Kaua’i Keshir Tea is an infused tea beverage that is made using the dried coffee husks of the coffee fruit. The husks we use are a by-product of our award-winning Moloa’a Camp Coffee, a natural dry-process coffee. Keshir is low in caffeine, high in antioxidants, with a natural sweetness which comes from the coffee fruit. This makes keshir a great alternative for those with caffeine sensitivities, a delight for tea drinkers, and a healthy drink for all!
To prepare, use the same proportions as you would use to brew coffee or tea. Using a French press or tea basket, steep 4 – 6 minutes. To increase flavor, add more tea. To make 1 quart, use 3/4 cup and pour through a strainer.
We have added the refreshing flavor of lilikoi (passionfruit), and the warm comforting flavor of cinnamon and spices for your enjoyment.
